It is the process of transplanting hair follicles taken from the scalp to the beard region. This is preferred by men who have empty spots in their beards or have very scarce beards. This is one of the most popular treatment methods in the last few years. The grafts put in the beards are taken from the hairs of the nape and transplanted according to the growth direction of the beard. In beard transplant, same as in hair transplant, the grafts are collected with a medical pen called CHOI and are placed directly on the skin with the same medical pen without opening any incision or channel. With this method, a dense and natural appearance is obtained. The operation gives permanent results that last a lifetime. On average, 1000-2000 grafts are needed for beard thickening operation. For completely empty cheeks, an average of 2500 to 3500 grafts will be needed.
